In addition to making my own collars for the cats, I also feed Tiger Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® cat food. Use the jump ring to attach the bell and attach it to the collar. Stitch with the same square and X pattern in order to secure the flap. Leave approximately a 1 1/4 inch flap, and open the buckle. Thread fabric back through the adjuster buckle and up through the other slot in the side release buckle.

Thread the free end of the fabric up through one slot in the side release buckle. Stitch along the edges of the flap and make an “X” pattern. Leave approximately 1 1/4 inches of excess fabric. Thread the fabric up through the bottom left side of the adjuster buckle and down through the right side. Stitch two long lines close to the edge along both long sides. Open the fabric, fold the ends to the inside and press. Open the fabric, fold one side into the center and crease and press. Once you have pushed the interface and cotton together you will fold it in half lengthwise and iron it.
